Eric’s Acts students are students who have done one or more acts of kindness in or outside of school that have made a positive impact on our community.

Azalya Lara (Mrs. Garcia‘a class) - When it was cold and another student didn’t have a jacket, Azalya had two and she let this other student borrow one.

Mason Partida (Mrs. Gonzalez‘s class) - When a new student came to the room, he helped him with the new procedures. Whenever he noticed the student needing something, he would go and get it for them or show them where it was.

1st Grade:

Serina Hossain (Ms. Miller): She’s always eager to help her friends in the classroom.  She will go above and beyond to help clean up the daily 5 stations even if she wasn’t at that station.  She’s a great helper and good friend!

Kaden deCastro (Mrs. Rhodes): Kaden is a good friend to everyone.  He is eager to help out during Daily 5 and math centers.  Other students are drawn to Kaden because of his sweet, sweet heart and helpful nature.

2nd Grade:
Keonna Wilson (Ms. Gardner’s class) Without hesitation, Keonna gave her crayons and markers to another student that did not have any. She gave her whole supply bag and told them they could use her supplies until they were done.

Kylen Rouen (Ms. Lowell) Kylen is always inclusive during any rotations or stations; he will work with any student without complaint.

3rd Grade:

Victoria Mendez (Mrs. Lara’s homeroom) Victoria is always concerned about the other person and how they are feeling.  During the kindness lesson with Mrs. Austin, she was deeply touch with emotion from the lesson.

Christian FranklinHe donated Clorox wipes using his own money to an enrichment teacher but my class told him that she had enough so he decided to donate his wipes to Mr. Beale’s technology classroom.

4th Grade:

Taylor McGruderTaylor exemplifies what it means to be caring, thoughtful, and a good friend to others. Without being asked, Taylor is the first one to volunteer to help her teachers and classmates. With many of our students out with sickness, Taylor will take notes for those students, copy down anything important that they will need to know, and helps gather all their missing work. She does all of this without being asked and with a smile on her face. She is eager and willing to help others no matter the situation.

Caden Overby:  He supported our school even though he was sick. He went to the UIL and the Spelling competitions.
